MVlab
Our team focuses on research and development of new methods, technologies and devices for optical measurements and surface quality inspection – especially difficult subjects.
We acquired the ultimate competences in the following areas:
- Optical and lighting systems simulations,
- Metal surfaces inspection,
- Optical measurement and 3D laser scanning
- Robotic inspection.
Laboratory of Rapid Product Development
In the laboratory of rapid prototyping we develop rapid prototyping (RP) and rapid tooling (RT) technologies. Those technologies find their application at the early stage of product design, allowing reduction of costs and time connected with bringing it onto the market.
Our technology:
- SLA 250/50 Stereolithography,, for building physical models of light-sensitive resin,
- 3D Printer Z-150, for building physical models of powders on the basis of gypsum, starch or ceramics,
- MCP Realizer II 250, for building models of metal powders (e.g. titanium, steel) using selective melting,
- MCP Realizer II 50, used for building precision components using selective melting,
- Eden 350, do drukowania fizycznych modeli prototypowych z fotopolimerów
- Dimension Elite, FDM technology for manufacturing components of plastic (ABS+),
- SolidScape T612BT, a device enabling wax models manufacturing used for casting processes,
- Vacuum Casting, a technology of vacuum casting of prototype series made of polyurethane in silicone moulds,
- 5-axis Hermle Numerically Controlled Machine.
Laboratorium Reverse Engineering
The activity of the Reverse Engineering Laboratory is connected with digitization of physical objects into their 3D computer models. Research are carried out in the laboratory which are the essence of reverse engineering – a field of science consisting in recreating design rules and work of material objects, both natural and man-made.
Our technology:
- Computer-assisted tomograph for 3D imaging, material defects analyses and complex components measurement,
- Optical Scanner GOM ATOS II,
- Laser Scanner Digibot II,
BadMat
Laboratory of material tests is the youngest part of CAMT centre.
Range of activities:
Projects carried out in the field of inspection and material and mechanical control apply to identification of relevant factors which have an influence on technological processes. Modern laser devices for functional surfaces and spatial structures manufacturing need constant improvement and defining the effect of a process on processed material.
Our laboratory is equipped with:
- Confocal Microscope OLS4000, laser microscope enabling 3D imaging,
- Scanning Electron Microscope ZEISS, enabling magnification to up to 106 times, additionally the EDS system allows obtaining information about chemical composition of examined area,
- Taylor Hobson Interferometer,, used to create 3D profiles,
- Wilson Wolpert 432SVD Hardness Tester,
- Zwick Roel Micro-hardness Tester,
- Complex specimen preparation equipment, including grinding and polishing machines, cutting-off machines etc.,
- Phantom v710 high-speed camera ,enabling recording with speed up to 1,4 million fps,
- INSTRON static and dynamic testing machine , with maximum test load of 150 kN.
