Gromkowski Provincial Specialist Hospital in Wroc\u0142aw<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Duration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: 2020 \u2013 2021<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Funding: <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">NCBR, \u201cSupport for covid-hospitals in the fight against the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus infection and in the treatment of COVID-19\u201d, 2020-2021, financed by Polish National Centre for Research and Development<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Objective: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The main goal of the project was to develop a method of immediate incremental production of spare parts and alternative medical equipment and personal protective equipment in a dispersed environment in crisis situations, including research and development work for the prevention of the spread of SARS-CoV-2 infection. The proposed solution involves new implants, which geometry restores original shapes of patients\u2019 facial bones, what is hard to achieve by manual procedures with autologous bone or synthetic graft substitute.
